Lets do good this December! Our very own Rebel Ballerina Astrid and her partner Martin have been growing their hair, and will be donating it to Angel Hair for Kids. Let's help them get there!
We have 3 fundraiser classes to help raise money for this amazing endeavour and organization that will go directly towards 2 wigs for children who have suffered hair loss from a serious disease like cancer. If you can’t make it to one of the fundraiser classes but still feel called to help, you can donate directly!

September
National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day.
September 30th is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day. This federal statutory holiday gives the public a chance to recognize and reflect on the intergenerational harm that residential schools have caused to Indigenous families and communities, and to honour those who have been affected by this injustice.
All proceeds from today’s classes, both at the studio and online, will be donated to the Indian Residential School Survivor Society. If you are able, we encourage you to donate to this organization to support the people who are doing such important work.
Lets all take time on this day to learn, to listen, and to reflect on what we can do to contribute to truth and reconciliation.
