Class Descriptions

Barre Fusion (Full Body, Upper Body or Lower body)

These classes are all unique to the teacher leading the class. Each teacher will bring their own experience and expertise to create a barre class that will make you sweat and smile. You can expect exercises at the barre and in the centre, mats, weights and bands! Get ready for a full body, music-driven workout!

Cardio Barre

You can expect a similar feel to Barre Fusion but will more emphasis on cardio! The fun, energetic, dance-based class will keep you coming back for more. Get ready for an amazing playlist that makes time disappear!

Barre By Ballet Beats®

Technique + Endurance + Posture + Grace

Barre by Ballet Beats® is a full body workout and a beautiful marriage of Ballet and fitness. We use the barre to support us through basic ballet exercises done to energizing music with lots of familiar cardio and core movements sprinkled throughout. No dance experience required. Think Rebel Ballet!

 

Beats by Ballet Beats®

Cardio + Mobility + Balance

Beats by Ballet Beats® is a burst of continuous mood-boosting movement. Our accessible exercises combine Ballet with balance, core, and cardio movements. We will move from standing to mats and everywhere in between!

 

Lift by Ballet Beats®

Strength + Low Impact

Lift by Ballet Beats® is a little less dance, the same intense burn! This full body strength and core class utilizes 1-3 lbs hand weights and optional ankle weights, providing another facet of training to the Ballet Beats® program. We use our Ballet posture and technique to execute defining exercises set to powerful music.

Grounded By Ballet Beats®

Mats, mats and more mats. We start with a good warm-up and then become one with our mats. These set series will focus on the lower body, challenging the core and upper body to support every movement. Proprioception, body awareness, and changing levels are incorporated, making this a total mind + body experience. Ankle weights optional.

The WorkS by Ballet Beats®

This class goes a little like this... warm-up, cardio, arms, cardio, mats, cardio, core, cardio, stretch. It's a whole lot of action jammed into one tiny hour of your day. You will have nothing left to get done. 

Yoga

We will incorporate various yoga styles into the schedule based on the needs of our students. These classes will compliment our barre + fitness class to provide a well-rounded program. Stay tuned for more!

Classical Ballet

Get back to the inspiration behind The Ballet Beats Program. This traditional ballet class is the perfect introduction to ballet. The focus is on technique and simplicity. We start with exercises at the barre and then move into centre work and across-the-floor. Pirouettes optional! All levels welcome. Please wear Ballet slippers or non-grip socks.
